For the 15th time the Rothaus RiderMan will take place from 26th to 28th of september 2014. Amateur cyclists from all over Germany and the neighboring countries will meet in Bad Durrheim in the black forest. The proven concept will be maintained again: a three day stage race from Friday to Sunday. On Friday and Sunday also single starts for just one day will be possible. As in the years before the results of the stage race flows again in the ranking of the German Cycling Cup , Germany’s largest amateur cyclist series with amore than 30,000 riders in thirteen events all over Germany.
The traditional start of the Rothaus Riderman is once again is the individual time trial over 16 kilometers and 200 meters above sea level on Friday afternoon. The second stage takes the riderss on a hilly and varied route ( 91.5 km , 1200 meters ) . Finally on Sunday it then goes over 87 km ( 1,000 meters ) with a trip to the beautiful “Wutachschlucht” . “We have remained largely faithful to the routes of last year. They have proven themselves well and were perfect to all participants . Only on the second stage we will make small improvements”, says Rik Sauser .
